Mark Wolfson, retired Vice President of Henry’s, Canada’s largest independent camera retailer is a graduate of Ryerson University Photographic Arts. In his near half century in the photographic business Mark has witnessed extraordinary changes to the equipment, materials and processes that once defined photography. Mark is a passionate photographer who has traveled extensively through many parts of North America, Europe, Asia and North Africa. His photographs hang in homes and businesses across Canada and the USA. Mark has lectured at York University’s Glendon College, Ryerson University, George Brown College, Photographic Clubs and Organizations across Canada.

In Mark’s presentation “Travel” he will tell us how he prepares for a shoot, the wear and gear he takes along, how he photographs people in foreign lands. He will supply us with tips and tricks, take us to some of his special photographic destinations and entertain us with stories of his adventures.

Please note on Monday night we will be meeting in the Museum Boardroom (entrance by the guard station) instead of the auditorium.

You can see some of his work here.
