MacDonald Bridge Redecking Project & Other Photo Adventures

Part 1 – MacDonald Bridge Redecking Project
Experience the once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing the MacDonald Bridge Redecking Project though the eyes of a photographer. It was the only the second time in history that the spans of a suspension bridge were replaced while keeping the bridge open to traffic. The photos in this presentation highlight the work and journey of the challenge starting with the first segment replacement (Oct 2015) and ending with the installation of the final segment (Feb 2017).

Part 2 – Other Photo Adventures
A brief summary of photos from a couple of trips and a few favourite photographs in a range of genres of photography.

About Lynn Ferguson:
Lynn is a multi-genre amateur photographer from Dartmouth NS who loves to be outdoors which is where the focus of her photography (Landscape, wildlife, ICM) takes place. Although always interested, she didn’t get serious about photography until joining a Photography meetup group back in late 2012. This provided the opportunity to learn from like-minded individuals and started her on the journey that she continues to this day. Lynn is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow by attending workshops, conferences, hanging out with other photographers and trying new things. She is a full-time Project Manager/Business Analyst and follows her passion of photography in her spare time.

She has had photographs published in various magazines including BBC Wildlife Magazine, Saltscapes, Canadian Geographic Kids More! Ultimate Animals special edition and was included in the Canadian Geographic Special Collector’s Edition Best Wildlife Photography 2021. In addition, Readers Digest have published Lynn’s photographs in their publications, Our Canada magazine and More of Our Canada magazine.  Her photos have won or have been recognized in a variety of local and international photo competitions.
