Meeting at 11 am at Gaspereau Valley Fibres farm and wool shop at: 830 Gaspereau River Road. Please park in behind the barn. Masks are required in the shop. Website

At 1 p m proceeding to the Irving Botanical Gardens, Woodland Trail and Environmental Centre at Acadia University at 32 University Avenue in Wolfville. Parking is metered at $1.50 per hour. Masks are recommended in the Centre. The Gardens welcome picnics so I plan to pack a lunch. Alternatively, Wolfville has many restaurants. Website

At 3 p m proceeding to the Tangled Garden at 11827 Nova Scotia Trunk 1 in Grand Pre. There is a $10.00 admission fee to access the gardens and grounds. Please use the parking lot behind the Gardens. ( Turn on to Lower Grand Pre Road just east of the Gardens and at the stop sign at Lower Post Road, turn left up the hill. Website

We are planning to wrap up at about 5 p m. (Although the shop closes at 5 p m, folks are welcome to stay longer in the Gardens if they wish.)

Please do not attend the Field Trip if you are not feeling well.

Field Trip Waivers (from our website) are required for participants. Please email me a Waiver or bring a hard copy along on the day. Thank you.

A packed lunch, water, some cash, waterproof footwear, insect repellant and sunscreen may be useful. A refresher on ticks can be found here.

If the field trip is canceled due to poor weather, an email notice via our Guild Google Group Email will be sent by 8 p m on Friday, June 3rd. If weather on Sunday the 5th is favorable, we will proceed with one change to the itinerary. As the farm and wool shop are closed on Sunday, we would meet instead at the Blomidon Inn at 11 a m at 195 Main Street in Wolfville to explore their Gardens. Website
