Hello again,
This is the last Competition of the year….
The End of Year trophy Competition to be exact.
Upload platform goes live on the 5th and closes on the 19th.

Read the announcement…
Then visit the ‘Member’s Only’ section of the website, for your scores if you need them, and for the form that gives an explanation.
(See the screenshot below with * marking both these things.)

You can print it and use it as a reference, but won’t need to submit it…it is just a helpful aid.

Best of luck to everyone.
There were some outstanding images this season and there will be three brand new judges, so it is yet another chance to have your work recognized and rewarded.

Ready, set, GO !!!!!!!!!!!

Show and Tell
Monday, April 10, 2023 7:30 PM

We know many of your were especially looking forward to Monday evening and Lin Craft’s presentation. As we all know, things can change in an instant.
Lin had to cancel because her Mom is very ill, and she is the one and only caretaker.

Sooooo….We’ve hustled around and after a few emails were exchanged, it has been decided that we will offer a 1*-Show and Tell evening.
Followed by an opportunity to view and do 2*-Image Commentary on a folder of images, consisting of snapshots, club work from other camera clubs, and International Exhibition work from a few PSA friends.
(We can be as critical / observant as we wish).

1*-Show and Tell
We hope that you will take time to send up to 10 images. 1400×1050 in Srgb colour space. Number them in the order you ant them to be shown.
Tell us what you have been up to recently, or visit a folder from the past. You might want to tell a quick story, or just give an explanation.…5 minutes
Send them to Laszlo using Wetransfer before Sunday @3pm. laszlopodor@hotmail.com

2*-Image Commentary
These are not Guild images….
You simply see the image on the screen, tell the group what you ‘like’ or ‘dislike’. (Depending on the time, you will have one or two turns.)
You can say whether you think it would mark well in a Guild competition? To keep it as simple as we can, let’s pretend they are all entered in ‘open categories – colour and mono’.
Talk about the images’ overall appeal, colour, composition, sharpness, whether it was cropped appropriately, etc.
You can participate or just observe and listen.

Let’s make this a learning opportunity, and an opportunity to share…

Note- If we were meeting in person I would bring the snacks, but unfortunately, you’ll have to bring your own! Sorry !!! ???? Viki

See you Monday night at 7:30
Viki, Laszlo, Joyce
