Portraiture with Glyn Dewis

Join us for this evenings presentation as Photographer and Author Glyn Dewis explains how Personal Projects not only give us focus, keep us excited and keep us in a creative frame of mind, but how they can also define us and develop our own unique identifiable style. What started out as a simple idea to coverage on National News, Glyn will take us through his 39-45 World War 2 Veterans Portraits Project. From getting started, gaining trust, how to relax people in front of the camera and capture the real ‘them’ , and ultimately doing what’s best for the subject and not the photographer, Glyn willingly admits “I’ve learned more about being a Photographer since starting this project than in all the years before it!”

“I look forward to sharing this journey and the lessons learned, but more importantly sharing these wonderful people with you” ~ Glyn
