George “Hutch” Hutchison

George “Hutch” Hutchison, QPSA, DFS4C has been recognized as a Gold and Silver Medal recipient in the PSA Projected Image Division (PID) Photo Essay Contest and also enjoys creating similar presentations for family, friends and memories. His presentation will include ideas for finding resources, organizing, sharing and building a slide show that will keep the audience engaged and wow competition judges.

Bio:
George “Hutch” Hutchison’s love for photography was inspired at a very early age by the magic of his father’s camera and darkroom. The advent of more advanced film cameras in the 1980’s and digital photography in the 1990’s further stimulated and broadened his interest. He primarily shoots for his own pleasure with work ranging across a broad spectrum of genre. He particularly enjoys landscape, action/sports and abstract photography.

“Hutch” is an active member of the Channel Islands Professional Photographers (CIPPA), Thousand Oaks Photo Group (TOPG) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Council of Camera Clubs (S4C). Over the years he has received numerous awards and recognition for his photography. Most recently as a Top 10 photographer at the 2022 Professional Photographers of California Competition and PermaJet USA award for best black & white print.
